J+R’s Wedding Day

J + R helped us officially kick off the 2021 wedding season and looked damn good while doing it with the Dockmaster Building at The Wharf in Southwest Washington, D.C. as the perfect backdrop for their classic, springtime wedding.

Karla from Petalos DC helped us welcome in spring with light, full and fluffy blooms in a bright pink, yellow and blue color palette. The couple got ready at nearby InterContinental Washington, D.C. before making the short journey over for their riverfront ceremony at the Dockmaster building. The couple and their intimate 35-guest wedding dined and danced in the stunning light-filled upper level of their venue to tunes provided by DJ Steve of Maryland’s DJ.

Transforming the Venue

It didn’t take long for the couple or our team to fall in love with the light-filled, glass walls at the Dockmaster Building located at The Wharf in Southwest DC. With 270-degree views of the Washington Channel, we knew there wasn’t much that needed to be done to the venue.
