Q:How much should I expect to invest in my wedding?

A: Our Full Planning + Design clients typically invest $800+ per guest for a 100 person wedding. We find it’s most helpful to think about your wedding investment in terms of price per person.

Our comprehensive planning, design and event management services start at $18,000 and will fluctuate based on the scope of your wedding day. Smaller offerings may be available for more intimate celebrations.

You may notice that our pricing is higher than the average cost of a wedding planner or coordinator in the in the Greater Washington, D.C. area.  Our services not only reflect our experience and expertise, but they are priced to ensure that our business can be sustainable to serve many happy couples for years to come.

Our clients also understand that in order to achieve their vision, it may require substantial resources and they're willing to make the investment to make that possible.

Q:Do you offer partial planning services?

A: We do not offer partial planning. We find our clients benefit the most when we can support them throughout the entire planning process. Dantus & Co. Events also no longer offers standalone Event Management a.k.a. Day-of Coordination services. Drop us a line at hello@dantusandco.com and we'll be happy to forward you a list of planners that do.

Q:What are your qualifications?

A: Each planner on the Dantus & Co. Events team has several years of wedding planning experience and has been personally vetted and trained by Founder and Principal Planner Courtney-Rose Dantus.

Courtney-Rose has been planning weddings professionally since 2012. Her wedding planning training includes several years of experience working for two of the top luxury wedding planners in the Washington, D.C. area. She founded Dantus & Co. Events in 2014.

Q:Who do you work with?

A: We love working with all D.C.-area couples, but especially those who are planning interracial, interfaith, or multicultural weddings. Our favorite couples are Type A (just like us!) — they’re excited to plan a wedding and love details, but don’t have the time to plan a wedding themselves because of their work or family obligations. They entrust us to be the experts, save them time, and give them peace of mind.

We pride ourselves on really getting to know our couples through effective listening. Our process includes in-depth phone calls and questionnaires throughout the process to understand our clients’ wedding vision. We’ll ask hard-hitting questions to really understand what our couples want and why so that we can advocate for them best throughout the process.

Q:How do you accommodate non-traditional weddings?

A: Listening is the key ingredient to planning any wedding, but especially those that are non-traditional or inclusive of many different cultural traditions. We ask all of our clients to complete a questionnaire and have in-depth phone calls with them at the beginning of the process to fully understand their wedding vision. We’ll ask hard-hitting questions to really understand what our couples want and why so that we can advocate for them best throughout the process.

Q:I want a traditional wedding. Is that ok with you?

A: Absolutely! We believe that couples should get married the way that they want to, whether that’s inclusive of many wedding traditions or none at all. Our job is to advocate for you and what you want throughout the entire process.

Q: Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples?

A: Heck yes! We are LGBTQ+ inclusive and are excited to work with you. Founder and Principal Planner Courtney-Rose Dantus is a Certified Inclusive Professional (CIP) through Equally Wed Pro.

Q: What areas do you serve?

A: Dantus & Co. Events is based in Olney, Maryland, and primarily serves couples being wed in Maryland, Northern Virginia, Richmond, Virginia and Washington, D.C. We love working with destination wedding couples, too; if you’re based in the DMV and want to get married elsewhere, or if you’re based elsewhere hoping to get married in the D.C. area, please reach out.

Q: What are your company values?

A: Dantus & Co. Events stands for inclusivity, approachability, advocacy, and honesty:
  • We want every wedding we work on to be inclusive of all couples and heritages
  • Our goal is to make wedding planning approachable and stress-free for every couple.
  • We serve as an advocate for all of our couples, amplifying their voices against those of other vendors, family members, and trends.
  • Lastly, because we love our couples, we always promise to be real with you, even when it’s hard or uncomfortable.

Q: Are you involved in any community groups?

A: It’s really important to our team that our company is an agent for good. We donate 5% of our company's annual profits to D.C. area and national non-profits in  honor of our couple's. We also realize the significant impact weddings can have on local resources and the environment. When possible, we work with our couples to find opportunities to reuse or repurpose materials from their celebration or source sustainable materials.
